Coincidence? I Think Not
Most of my blog posts come to me while sitting on the toilet. Usually I forget them, but this time I remembered. I was thinking about how Saw II and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are essentially the same movie. Each has a crazy weirdo who lures people to his lair. He sets tests for each of his "victims" by involving something to do with their character (i.e. gum chewer, or drug dealer). There is an orgy of blood and guts, everybody is killed except for one and that person is left to be the protege of the crazy weirdo. It also got me to thinking that Willy Wonka is really fucked up.
